Mario Botta is creadited with the San Fransico meuseum of Modern Art. He was born in Switzerland and trained as a drafts-man he was privileged enough to work with Le Corbusier and Louis Kahn. Botta believes his work to have more social and moral value than aesthetic. The MoMA exemplifies these characteristics and set an interesting tone for the city.

The team Disney building was designed by Michael Graves in Lake Buena Vista, Florida The seven dwarfs (19 feet tall) serve as caryatids for the somewhat classical facade; one dwarf is under the gable.

As a kid, the Indianapolis-born Graves spent countless hours drawing. "The more I did, the better I got," he says. "I wasn't good at much else." His mother panicked when he said he wanted to be an artist, telling him, "Unless you're as good as Picasso, you'll starve." She suggested he consider careers that use drawing - engineering and architecture - and when he investigated each, he chose architecture.
